Comprehensive capabilities for professional capture

Multi-source capture, ProRes workflows, on-device transcription, screen annotation, and full automation — all in a native macOS app. No cloud required.

Capture multiple sources simultaneously with isolated outputs

Screen Recording

Record any display, individual window, or specific application. Multi-display support with each to its own file.

Screen Annotation

Draw on your screen during recordings with pro tools

Drawing Tools

Select (V), Pen (P), Highlighter (H), Arrow (A), Line (L), Shapes (R/D/C), Text (T), Eraser (E), Laser Pointer (O), and Image (I). Each with keyboard shortcuts.

17 Shape Types

Rectangles, triangles, diamonds, flowchart shapes, callouts, stars, hearts, checkmarks. Rounded/sharp corner toggle on rectangles and diamonds.

Smart Arrows

Arrows snap to shapes and stay connected when shapes move. Elbow arrows with A* pathfinding, obstacle avoidance, and draggable segments.

Post-Draw Editing

Select any element to change color, thickness, stroke style (solid/dashed/dotted), arrowheads, and fill mode. Shape rotation and endpoint dragging.

Group & Resize

Group elements (Cmd+G), ungroup (Cmd+Shift+G). Resize multiple selected or grouped elements together. Import custom shapes from Excalidraw libraries.

Shape Fill & Colors

None, semi-transparent, or solid fill with separate fill color picker. 11-color palette for both stroke and fill.

Whiteboard Mode

Press W for a blank canvas. Four patterns: blank, dots, grid, lines. Adjustable spacing and background color.

Recording Integration

Annotations always appear in the captured video. Toolbar visible in recordings by default with toggle to hide. Multi-display support.

Cursor Highlight & Spotlight

Presentation tools for demos and tutorials

Cursor Highlight

A colored shape follows your cursor — ring, filled circle, squircle, or rhombus. Click animations for left (scale) and right (flash). Size, color, opacity, and border are all adjustable.

Spotlight

Dims the entire screen with a bright cutout around your cursor. Adjustable size (80–600pt), dim intensity, edge softness, and follow speed (instant or smooth).

Keystroke Display

Show keyboard input as floating pills with modifier symbols (⌃⌥⇧⌘), standalone modifier keys, special keys, configurable position, font size, display width, fade duration, and modifiers-only mode.

Persistent Settings

All presentation tools remember their state across app restarts. Settings can be saved in encoding presets for full configuration recall.

Total Control

Toggle all tools from toolbar, global hotkeys, Stream Deck, or URL scheme. Commands include toggle-cursor-highlight, toggle-spotlight, and toggle-keystroke.

Virtual Teleprompter

Read your script while recording

Multi-Script Editor

Create, manage, and switch between multiple scripts. Reading line indicator keeps your place.

Auto-Scroll
